A Moyross family have been left homeless in the run up to Christmas, after their house was destroyed by a random arson attack. The Troy family home in Moyross was completely gutted. Tommy Daly, who ran in the 2009 local elections as an independent is speaking to the regeneration agency and Limerick city council in a bid to obtain Ms Troy a new home before Christmas. The Moyross monks are also on hand to offer support.

Flood Alert: People living in Clonlara, Castleconnell and Montpelier are being warned that major floods are expected in those areas.
